Representative work

Challenge, response, result.

Anonymized examples grounded in real, shipped engineering: outcomes are described qualitatively, never with invented numbers.

Insurance & financial technology

Global insurance SaaS platform.

Challenge
A large international insurance platform handled heavy datasets and complex grids across many services, where payload sizes and duplicated configuration slowed delivery and strained performance.
Engineering response
Senior full-stack work across an Angular frontend and a .NET 8 backend: reduced API payloads, optimized grid performance, strengthened frontend validation and refactored asset workflows, with shared NuGet packages and centralized configuration removing duplication across services.
Result
Improved maintainability, reduced duplication, stronger performance and more scalable analytics integration. Contributed to a major global insurance SaaS platform recognized by the industry in 2025.

Healthcare, medical & laboratory systems

Healthcare analytics modernization.

Challenge
A data-heavy healthcare analytics application on an older MVC stack needed a modern, maintainable interface and faster handling of large datasets, without losing reliability.
Engineering response
Modernized to a new React frontend with a reusable component library from Figma designs (React, Redux, TypeScript), upgraded backend services to .NET 8, added server-side pagination and query optimization, integrated Highcharts visualizations and covered the work with Vitest and .NET tests.
Result
A more maintainable frontend architecture, better performance on large datasets, a reusable UI foundation and stronger automated test coverage.

Industrial manufacturing & automation

Industrial production monitoring and machine communication.

Challenge
Automated industrial ultrasonic-welding workstations needed reliable monitoring, machine communication and production reporting, alongside a desktop application that had outgrown its original framework.
Engineering response
Built machine communication over WCF and AMQP with barcode and external-source decoding, production imports and reporting, and machine-simulation tooling for safe testing, while modernizing the desktop application from Windows Forms to WPF.
Result
Reliable machine-to-system communication, improved operational visibility, automated production workflows, safer testing through simulation and a more maintainable desktop architecture.

Membership & field operations

Membership and field-operations platform.

Challenge
A long-running organizational platform needed accurate membership, organizational-structure, address and territory data across a large area, with inconsistent source documents and heavy manual work.
Engineering response
An address and territory registry with deterministic resolution, validation and a controlled import-and-verify pipeline, with duplicate detection, document processing, bulk import and reporting: role-based, tenant-aware and auditable.
Result
Long-term operational reliability, support for complex territory and address workflows, controlled bulk-data processing, stronger validation and reduced manual operational work.

Operational AI

Controlled AI workflow platform.

Challenge
Document-heavy operational workflows consumed expert time, but could not be blindly automated without losing oversight of key business decisions.
Engineering response
A controlled AI workflow approach, the basis of AI Orchestrator: structured outputs, deterministic validation that stays authoritative, human approval gates before any action runs, reusable document and template workflows, and full execution history.
Result
The platform removes manual operational burden while the user retains decision authority over key business moments: automation that is repeatable, traceable and safe to trust.

Case studies are anonymized. Specific client names, logos and screenshots are intentionally not shown.

Breadth

Proven across more than the headlines.

Compact proof points from additional domains, beyond the featured case studies.

  • Investment analytics & reporting

Investor-servicing and financial-reporting workflows on .NET and MSSQL.

  • Corporate-finance decision support

Decision-support and analytics platforms for corporate-finance teams.

  • Smart-building performance

Cloud data and messaging for building performance and sustainability.

  • Connected-device platforms

Device management, notifications and SaaS portals for telecom and IoT.

  • Medical & pharmaceutical certification

Offline and online certification with real-time synchronization.

  • Secure onboarding & 2FA

Onboarding with email, phone and two-factor verification.

  • Laboratory measurement & compliance

Measurement, uncertainty calculation and compliance reporting for accredited labs.

Modernization

Changing business-critical systems safely.

Legacy and business-critical applications are evolved behind stable contracts, with observability and measured, reversible steps, so the system keeps running while it improves. Modernization is treated as risk management, not a rewrite for its own sake.

Capability domains

Where the engineering goes deep.

Four domains where Midenas work is grounded in real, shipped systems.

Applied AI

Intelligence with control.

AI provides reasoning; the deterministic system provides reliability. We use AI for structured outputs and proposals, then validate them, enforce schemas and require human approval before anything executes, with execution history and an auditable trail.

Technology landscape

The tools, in service of the outcome.

A verified, practical stack, chosen for reliability and longevity, never as a logo wall.
